Hi, I'm Jenna Brinning.

I’m an independent localization leader who drives international UX and global growth.

At my boutique consultancy Modilingua, I help startups and SMBs navigate language, content and localization challenges.

I'm currently building content operations for ZenDiS, a 100% publicly funded startup of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior.

From 2009–2021, I brought Tumblr to the world.

Prior to that, I provided over 180 clients around the globe with language management, localization, translation and editorial services.

I have over 20 years of experience in cross-functional teamwork and localization management, and I'm a pioneer in remote collaboration.

Once upon a time, I wrote a book which examined the relation between personal web publishing and the public sphere.

I'm passionate

... about free speech, user interfaces and user experience, bridging cultural disparity, remote work, privacy protection, AI, intercultural communication, user-generated content, ground-zero building, hockey-stick growth, and servant leadership.

Want to work together?

Let's talk.

Whether you're a startup ready to scale through UX translation, a global enterprise that needs to consolidate internationalization processes, or a sole developer with an app to localize: I'd love to hear from you and tell you about how I can help.
